Optimist Duck Race May 20, 2010 We had beautiful weather with lots of rain early in the week for ideal duck racing conditions at Squaw Valley Park.  Thanks to our sponsors and everyone that supported this event, it was a complete success.  Special thanks to Joe and Joyce for all the effort they put into the first annual Optimist Duck race of Pittsburgh.  Listen to the excitement of the children when you watch this video:                     Pittsburgh Optimist Club... is a voluntary organization of civic-minded men and women motivated by the desire to contribute to the community.  By believing in young people and empowering them to be the best they can, Optimist volunteers continually make this world a better place to live.
