The Optimist Fall Family Ride for 2011 was on Sunday afternoon October 23rd at 1PM. This year the theme was "A Steeler Tailgate Party" and we had a prize for the best looking Steeler fan.
The ride was an easy 5 mile loop going down the South Side Trail, crossing the sidewalk over the Smithfield Street Bridge, up the Eliza Furnace Trail, crossing the sidewalk over the Hot Metal Bridge and back to the REI Store.
The weather was beautiful this year! Thank you to everyone that helped make this event a day for the children to remember.
