Every fall the Optimist celebrate the year with a party/fund raiser for local youth related organizations in the area. Money from this event has been donated to the Lauri Ann West Library, Fox Chapel Soccer, Aspinwall Baseball and several other organizations.   
This year was our 7th Annual Community Benefit and we were back at the Fox Chapel Racquet Club. Music was provided by the Shady Side Academy Jazz Combo along with the talented James Smith on the piano. Over 100 people enjoyed bidding on the silent auction and supporting needy children in our region.
