2021 Event Summary
On behalf of the Pittsburgh North Optimist Foundation and the Carl A. Bongiovanni Scholarship Committee, thank you all for your participation in last week’s golf outing. Your generosity netted over $31,000 to be given to deserving young people choosing a career in the construction trades. We were delighted that two of this year’s scholarship awardees were able to join us for dinner.
We have booked next year’s outing at the same place (Pittsburgh National Golf Club) on Friday, June 17, 2022. Mark your calendars now!

2019 Event Summary
We exceeded our goal of $12,000 and raised over $14,000. Since the inception of the scholarship in 2018, we have raised over $40,000 for the Carl A. Bongiovanni scholarship fund. As you know, the monies that are raised help a deserving high school student or students who wish to further their education in a post-secondary career program in the building and construction trades. Your participation, donations, and volunteer efforts this year are so greatly appreciated. The success of this golf event happens because of generous people like you!
