Pittsburgh North Optimist Foundation

On behalf of the Pittsburgh North Optimist Foundation and the Carl A. Bongiovanni Scholarship Committee, thank you all for your participation in the 2024 golf outing.  Your generosity netted $23,000 to be given to deserving young people choosing a career in the construction trades.  We were delighted that two of our scholarship awardees were able to attend part of the festivities.

Despite a dire forecast, the weather was good, and we had great camaraderie, great food, and some great golf.  The winners of the scramble tournament at 22 under par after a match of cards were:

​Jeff Chastel, Michael Roarty, Aaron Libman, and Tyler Vallano

Next year, our date conflicts with the U.S. Open at Oakmont so we will move the date – probably to September.  We will send out a save-the-date email when we know.
